Barrera: First row, at the edge of the ring. The option with the highest demand and highest price: ideal if you want to experience the bullfight up close.
Contrabarrera: Second row. Almost the same proximity as the barrera, with a slightly lower price.
Tendido (sol, sombra or sol y sombra): The intermediate and most numerous section of the plaza. The price depends mainly on the orientation: sombra is the most requested, especially in August.
Andanada: The highest part of the arena. Overall view of the ring at the most accessible price in the entire plaza.
VIP Box: Private space on the upper level, with limited capacity and additional services. Also available as a complete box for groups.
💡 Tip: for the Real Feria de Agosto, with high temperatures in Antequera, sombra is almost mandatory if you are going with children or elderly people. At the Spring Fair the weather factor weighs much less when choosing.

The Real Feria de Agosto is, together with the Spring Fair, the main event of Antequera’s bullfighting calendar, and has in the Corrida Goyesca its most recognizable celebration: period setting, costumes inspired by the 18th century and a ring that during that afternoon recovers the spirit of eighteenth-century plazas.
Every August, the city embraces the fair: full terraces, casetas, tapas before the bullfight and an atmosphere that attracts both enthusiasts from the province of Málaga and visitors from outside.

Before the general box office opens you can reserve by section and type of seat. Once general sales open, you will be able to choose the specific seat according to availability.
Between 2 and 2.5 hours, with three bullfighters fighting two bulls each as the usual format. There are also “mano a mano” events (two bullfighters, three bulls each).
In the corrida de toros, matadores fight adult bulls; in the novillada, novilleros fight younger bulls; and in the corrida de rejones, rejoneadores perform on horseback. The Corrida Goyesca, for its part, is a bullfight with period setting typical of the August fair.
There is no children’s rate: the price is the same for any age. Children under 5 can sit on an adult’s lap, bearing in mind that the seats are narrow.
